What are flakes? They are the raw material used to make new bottles.
All plastic flakes are sent to French recyclers who use this material for manufacturing their bottles.
As a result, the clear bottles, which make up 90% of our collection, are transformed back into bottles, while the colored bottles, representing 10% of our collection, are repurposed into textile fibers.

To make your life easier, simply place your empty bottles directly in your shopping bags.

Why do I need to scan my bottle?
The barcode allows b:bot to verify that it's an accepted bottle and identify its color. Colored plastics are not recycled in the same way as transparent plastics.

No, milk bottles are made of PEHD. This material is not recycled in the same way as plastic bottles made of PET.
